negative one month

Monday was our 35-month wedding anniversary. I was at a charity golf outing all day helping to take pictures of rich golfers. But we both got home and went out to celebrate at Derek’s. Nice simple dinner…it is after all a made up “holiday”. It started with our night out one month before the wedding… Our “negative one month anniversary”. Went to Stella Blue in Conshohocken, right down the street from the Chinese Church of Philadelphia After dinner we went to see Mr. & Mrs. Smith. It was such a fun movie, which I highly recommend if you haven’t seen it, and that’s how we found our first dance song

newlywed bliss.

we have almost been married for 3 years!  In just about two weeks we will be celebrating the negative one month anniversary!  Time has flown by, but it has been so much fun.  

Last year for our anniversary we went to the Waterworks restaurant in Fairmount Park.  It was beastly hot that day, and they closed the balloon at the zoo early  :(  But!  we still had a great time.  I was looking through the pictures a few days ago and figured I would put some up.  They are both from possibly my favorite part of the day.  

Just hanging out behind the museum after dinner.  all alone next to the river.  The sunset was so pretty!

happy birthday uncle pete!

although it is late, here are some images from celebrating pete’s birthday this year. We were both sick, so the birthday party got canceled, but I still wanted to make the cake I was so excited I had come up with in January. Almost as good, how birthday cakes are for 3-year-olds, whether it is their birthday or not.
